Why They Like Headscissors

Dead Space - Martyr

Good morning everyone and welcome back to these pages. Yesterday
evening, before diving into the vision of "Medium", I was able to conclude the reading of "Dead Space: Martyr," a book by BK Evenson based on the masterpiece, indeed, the masterpieces targati Games Visceral and responding to the name of Dead Space and Dead Space 2. If you do not know these two games, entered the law in the history of Ludo, there are only two possibilities: either you're a pearl fishermen of Papua or you are not accustomed to electronic games. In both cases, I feel sorry for you, for DS and DS2 are among the highest forms of art in the virtual world of entertainment.

That said, let's examine the book in question. The site Multiplayer.it it contains a brief review, which I find very okay. Then carry the back cover taken from the site IBS :
"The Church of Unitology" was created with Michael Altman, a geophysicist who discovered a mysterious signal emitted from the bottom of Chicxulub crater. Michael and his girlfriend Ada lead a team of geologists determined to find the source of the message. But what they discover has a mysterious power. Near the stone strange events occur: visions of death, vivid dreams and brutal murders. When Michael gets a secret piece of stone, they bring these visions out of the crater. A message was clear from the stone: proving to be worthy of eternal life or life on earth will be swept on. Thus was born the myth of "Dead Space" - as a man discovered the foundations of an inscrutable future. "

All very nice, in an ideal world. But I think there are movies, games and cartoons that can not be brought up paper without losing something - or a lot, when transposing (unless you have two balls, in fact, two square pens in the art of writing). This book recounts the events that brought the world to know the brand, an alien artifact capable of altering the DNA of humans transforming them into bloodthirsty monsters. It also recounts the birth of the religious movement of "Unitology" pivot around which the plot of Dead Space science fiction: the mark is in fact capable to generate in the minds of men a kind of worship God even in his wildest dreams he never reached!
According to the author, the first monolith (see The brand also known as "the Devil's Tail"), is located in the deep ocean, a company with intrigues of various kinds and nature with the army board - literally undertaking to pull down his monolith, which emits the mysterious signals that interfere with electronic equipment and makes you hallucinations and from that moment on, everything starts to go to hell, both for the protagonist Michael Altman for all the characters Contour ...
On paper, the potentials are there and the author has certainly had some good idea. However, beyond the horrors of spelling throughout the Volume (!), The book does not flow or flows and bad, to see a minimum of action (ie, the first encounter with a Necromorphs), you must wait up to page 340 of 422 the work.

Finally ... a book, I recommend only to those who loved DS and wants to expand its collection.

Farewell

Ale
